Co-Graphics Editor
Junior Emily Zhang is the 2025-26 Co-Graphics Editor, having previously served as a staff writer. She’s excited to dive into her new role as an editor, designing layouts and witnessing a new perspective of the Smoke Signal pipeline. On campus, she is the Layout Editor for Phoenix Magazine, the Fundraising Head for Peer Resource, and hopes to start a game development club on campus — a new passion she discovered over the summer. This year, she hopes to continue creating art — whether through charcoal, digital art, or watercolor — both in her position as Graphics Editor and in her AP Art Class. In her free time, you can find Emily playing badminton, solving an escape room, or drinking strawberry matchas.
