Charity Fashion Show: “Lost in Japan” Photo Coverage

By Feature Editor Kikue Higuchi

Leadership 2’s (L2) Community Committee organized the Charity Fashion Show on April 5. All proceeds from the event went to the Edna Adan Hospital Foundation, which aims to eradicate female genital mutilation and increase survival amongst women and children in Somaliland.

The show opened with a duet vocal and dance performance to Shawn Mendes’ “Lost in Japan,” the inspiration behind the show’s theme. There were several vocal performances, as well as passionate dance numbers performed by EZM and senior Emily Zhang.

From casual to formal fits, the models were stunning and often ingeniously creative. The biggest surprise, however, was the finale performed by the “L2 Men,” which had the crowd cheering and laughing.
