Adviser
Mrs. Cohen is an English teacher currently teaching ERWC and Journalism. She has been guiding young journalists as the Adviser for the Smoke Signal for the past sixteen years after a first career in newspaper advertising and marketing. As the Adviser, she is responsible for overseeing the operations of the newspaper, adding final edits on articles before they are published, and upholding the standards of English and Journalism. Mrs. Cohen has a passion for writing and helps guide young writers to find their voices and hone their skills in this very business based class. When not engaged in work for school, she can be found reading a good book, painting, or otherwise creating something for fun. Her inspirations include all the alumni who circle back to give us wisdom and guidance.
