The Smoke Signal is the official paper of Mission San Jose High School in Fremont Unified School District. During the school year, the Smoke Signal publishes and distributes nine issues, approximately once every month. The goal of the Smoke Signal is to provide coverage of schoolwide and local activities as its readership is mostly centered in the MSJ community. It is self-funded, which means it depends solely on advertisements and a small subscriber base for financial security. Each issue is exposed not only to our student body of over 2,000 students but also to school employees, parents, and subscribers from the surrounding area. We also exchange papers with surrounding schools in the district.
As a self-funded, student-run organization, the Smoke Signal is eager to meet the needs of local businesses. For small organizations, it is often more cost effective to advertise only in the local areas, especially those that are concentrated with students and their parents. That is where the Smoke Signal can help.
We offer several print advertising options to fit your preferences, from smaller business card-sized ads to larger full-page. The Smoke Signal is willing to accommodate everything from a full year of advertising or an online time period by issue.
With this, please consider running an advertisement that will reach out to the MSJ community. If you are interested, please view the rate card found on the contract linked below and contact the Advertising Manager at email@example.com. We greatly appreciate your support.
• No cancellations or adjustments are to be made after sending the ads in.
• Materials should be submitted via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
• DOC or DOCX files will NOT be accepted. We accept only JPG files for online advertisements.
