Staffer
Sophomore Katherine Chen is a 2026-27 Staff Member. In her eyes, the Smoke Signal serves the essential purpose of bringing students out of their academic shells and connecting each individual to the MSJ community. Outside of school, Chen enjoys competing on the swim team, playing piano, sculpting little ceramic trinkets, or just frolicking around on her phone. She will forever be an avid food lover, snacking on Korean BBQ and Meet Fresh ice cream as often as possible. Moreover, Chen is always open to making new friends and spreading joy.
