Letters to the Editor: Haasini Bhupalam

Dear Editors,

I would like to commend your article “Straight Heat at Angry Chickz” (Sept 12). It was an excellent subject choice, since students in Fremont have been discussing the opening of the infamous food chain for over a year. I especially appreciated the descriptions and honest critiques of the different menu items, since it allowed us students to have a better idea of what to order. Angry Chickz offers unusual combinations of food, so an analysis of each item was very useful.

Although the article was well-written and touched on many aspects of the restaurant, I wish it would have included opinions from the customers rather than the workers. By only quoting the restaurant employees, I feel that the review of Angry Chickz was slightly biased, since the employees are unlikely to speak negatively about the restaurant. If readers could have gotten more information about customer satisfaction levels, we would have had more genuine insight.

Additionally, I hoped that the article would discuss the different spice levels offered at Angry Chickz. This is often a difficult choice for customers, since ordering something too spicy or too mild makes the experience unpleasant, so I would have valued comparisons of the various levels. I believe that adding this small detail would have enhanced the article and made it a more holistic review.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this piece. The writers touched on the unique food combinations, the price levels, and even discussed the ambiance of the restaurant, giving readers an authentic evaluation of the Angry Chickz experience.

Sincerely,
Haasini Bhupalam, MSJHS Senior
