Quarantine Snapshots

by Staff Writer Sreetama Chowdhury

We’re currently entering our sixth week of quarantine, and as shelter-in-place continues, Mission students have found many ways to occupy themselves in the safety of their own homes. To connect and document daily life in quarantine, the Smoke Signal has compiled a series of snapshots of what students are up to while stuck at home. Check out the photos and read their descriptions below.

Ruthsha Deb

“It is a zentangle drawing of a peacock.”

Kayley Seow

“For the past couple of weeks, I have been volunteering with the Fremont Unified School Store to pass out lunches to FUSD students who have been impacted by the school closures, and I was featured on the Tri-City Voice for my contributions.”

Rachel Hsiao

“I am playing either Animal Crossing: New Horizons or Pokemon Sword.”

Anita Sun:

“I’ve been baking too much; this here is an apple pie, but I’ve also baked lemon bars, cookies, brownies, banana bread, and more.”
