This year’s Charity Fashion Show (CFS) was hosted by the Leadership 2 Community committee on March 29 from 7 to 9 pm in C120. The theme was “A Million Dreams”, based on the movie The Greatest Showman. Every year, L2 puts on the CFS to raise money for a specific charity. The money raised by this year’s event will be donated to the American Cancer Society through MSJ’s Relay for Life club.
The show featured students who volunteered to act as models, as well as several engaging performances by singing and dance groups. The models were categorized into three groups: casual-wear, semi-formal clothes, and formal dresses and tuxedos. There was great variety in styles of clothing worn, ranging from pajamas to prom dresses to Indian formal dresses. The performances were also very energetic, capturing the audience’s attention with K-Pop, Bollywood, songs from The Greatest Showman, and many other performances.
