Rockstar Energy World Tour Rocks San Francisco

By: Ben Morgan, Special to the Smoke Signal

San Francisco received a big dose of southern California as the Warfield presented Sleeping with Sirens and Pierce the Veil with Pvris and Mallory Knox as their openers. Pvris warmed up everyone with their hit songs “My house” and “St. Patrick.” The alternative rock band from the UK, Mallory Knox, leveled everyone with “Shout at the Moon.” Their brilliantly catchy choruses along with their melodic guitar really put everyone in a great place.

Pierce The Veil exploded on the stage from behind a drawn curtain that pulsed in and out each of the band members’ shadows. Starting off their set with hit songs like “Caraphenalia” and ending it with “King for a Day” which featured Kellin Quinn. With expert level vocals and ripping guitar work from all the members these guys really gave it they’re all.

Sleeping With Sirens opened their set with a video montage of themselves introducing each member of the band. It seemed as though the band was trying out a new guitarist/ vocalist since they featured a third guitarist on stage to also help with backup vocals. They opened up their night with songs off their latest album like “Congratulations” and “Low.” They treated the crowd to an acoustic set featuring their hit cover song “Ivory.” As the night wound down, it was clear that this was definitely both Pierce the Veil’s and Sleeping with Sirens’ biggest tour yet.
